Dr. Eddicks is Senior Researcher and Head of the research group “Epidemiology and prophylaxis of infectious swine diseases” at the Clinic for Swine at the Centre for Clinical Veterinary Medicine of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU). German veterinary specialist for swine. 1998-2004 Study of Veterinary Medicine at the LMU in Munich; 2004-2006 Doctoral thesis at the Clinic for Swine of the LMU; 2005-2009 Veterinary Practitioner in the field of livestock (focus on swine); Since 2009 Researcher at the Clinic for Swine of the LMU Munich; 2016 (April- October) Substitute Professorship for Animal Health Management at Faculty of Natural Sciences III of the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg;  2019  Habilitation at the LMU in Munich.
